One of the couple dozen grand fountains at Versailles. This picture definitely does it no justice. I think this is "fountain #1", the one that everyone crowds around at the beginning of the fountain show that happens at regular times. (The fountains do not run constantly, but are turned on only for certain short periods each day.)
