Another mostly-failed attempt at a touristy yet artistic photograph. This is in the hall of mirrors at Versailles.
I spent forever figuring out the proper position to hold my camera at my waist, so it wouldn't be in front of my face. (At least that much worked out well -- the whole frame is shown here.) And we spent even longer than forever waiting for an instant when the throng of tourists behind us was relatively small. (See previous photo for what it normally looks like.) But I failed to anticipate the effects of the windows behind us in 1) making me into a silhouette and 2) making LG disappear almost entirely. :-(
