A closer view of the chateau at Chenonceau. This chateau is actually built out over a river, all the way across the river. Boats can (and do) pass underneath the chateau. This is one of the more photogenic (and therefore oft-photographed) of the chateaux in central France, although I've cleverly hidden its beauty with this picture. I suppose it didn't help that the day was overcast. Yeah, that's the ticket.
