the exact date, but it would have been around March of 1994. Might
have just been because Mosaic was effectively synonymous with the
Web at the time, or might have been because Marc Andreessen kept
mentioning Dr. Fun on the NCSA What's New page.

Scotiabank, a
Canadian bank. Ok, so this bank's been around since 1832, and their
logo is surely not based on the Mosaic logo, but still, it seems to
fit here, don't you think? I only wish I had a nicer
(higher-resolution) one...
Sonoco, a consumer and
industrial packaging company, about to celebrate its 100th year
(1999). I figure this isn't based on the Mosaic logo either, but
again, how could I resist? (Plus, I've gotten some really nice email
from the folks at Sonoco, amused and flattered to find themselves on
my page. :-)

at Lincoln. Our hero suffering from taco-neck syndrome.
