I hope for this to be the most complete list of HTML editing tools around. If you know of a tool that is not on this list, or if you find incorrect or incomplete information here, please let me know.

I'm sorry, but I am unable to give advice on what editor is most suitable for your specific needs. (For whatever it's worth, I use vi.) I do the best I can to keep up with what editors exist, but I don't have nearly enough time to try them out, or do detailed feature comparisons. If anyone knows of sites giving editor reviews, feature comparisons, or similar information, please let me know and I'll list it here.
I'm working -- admittedly rather slowly -- on collecting other HTML resources, too.
